Drivers should always make it a habit to buckle up before stepping on the pedal or even holding the steering wheel.
Passengers should also do the same. People in the vehicle should remind everyone on board to fasten the seatbelts before getting out of the parking.
Why do we need to strap ourselves in the car or in any type of vehicle? What does a seatbelt do?
It is a safety harness that holds the person in place in case sudden stops, accidents, or collisions take place. The seatbelt prevents the person from bumping and banging and slamming inside the car. It helps lessen the injury from hitting the parts of the car. It has a mechanism of absorbing the impact.
I have tried and tested this importance of wearing seatbelt. And it can really save a life!
You should put a sticker somewhere in the car to remind you to buckle up before anything else. Public transportation should also have seatbelts. We'll never know what might happen on the road.
Better safe than sorry.
