This is one example of a very creative mind. I believe whoever would pass by this little repair shop cannot walk away without having their footwear checked!

Glenn Close just got nominated for an Oscar award for best actress for her role as Albert Nobbs in the movie with the same title. We all knew her as the evil black-and-white covered villain Cruella de Vil in 101 Dalmatians. I find it amazing how she really looked like a man in this intriguing film. A solar storm is hitting the earth. It may affect communication lines, signals, power grids and satellites. What is a solar storm and how will it affect the earth and its people? The image below has been circulating in social networking sites, just in time for the ongoing impeachment trial of the chief justice.
It's a "class picture" of the Philippine senators with matching color-coded labels above their heads. Check out which label they fall under and laugh your heads off! Enough of the Twilight Saga. Tim Burton's Dark Shadows will feature a vampire Johnny Depp (which is, without a doubt, so much better than Edward Cullen and his shimmering body).
This newest character of J. Depp in this gothic-horror movie will once again prove his versatility as an actor and a role-player. He will play Barnabas Collins, a human-turned-vampire who came back to the real world after two centuries of deep sleep. Below is a still from the movie showing a vampire Johnny with co-star Michelle Pfeiffer. What a treat for Friday the 13th! You would want to teach your dogs how to modulate their voices, and wish they could do the same as Ame! Food, food, food!
Food definitely defines the Philippines. It is always overflowing on every table in every feast of every Filipino. Click on the palayok and feast your eyes on what's inside. Be ready to drool! Be ready to add more to your list! Yum, yum, yum! "Manila Kingpin: The Asiong Salonga Story" -- Humakot ng Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor, Cultural Award, Best Screenplay, Best Production Design, Best Editing, Best Musical Score, Best Sound Recording, Best Cinematography, and Best Original Theme Song sa 37th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF). These magazine covers reminded me of how aliens in movies copy the physical image of humans in a "trying-hard" manner. I found the models weird from the moment I saw them. If there weren't names printed on the side, everybody wouldn't be able to recognize Jinkee Pacquiao and Charice Pempengco.
"WHAAAAAAATT??????" Yes, Jinkee and Charice deserve a second look here, only for the purpose of confirming that they really are themselves in these magazines. In my honest and humble opinion, these two ladies did not portray who they truly are. I mean, we see these guys on TV but they look nothing close to these photos, right? Try staring at these magazine covers and imagine the "true" Jinkee and Charice. It will surely give you migraine. (Oh, what wonders make-up, cosmetic surgery, and Photoshop can do!) |
