We all face traps in our personal lives. There are financial traps, moral traps, marital traps, and physical traps to name a few.
As humans, we can also create our own traps. Every summer, I set a trap out for the yellow jackets around my house. I put the bait in, and as soon as they smell it, they fly right in. My purpose is to destroy my enemy, before the nasty little guys sting me!
Satan, our enemy, is seeking to destroy us. He sets traps in our lives to turn us away from God and separate us from love and forgiveness, ultimately taking life away from us.
To avoid these traps, we must first realize that they are there! They do exist, and they can be dangerous. Also, understand that you have a choice. You can choose life instead of death, joy instead of anger, and turn to God for salvation instead of falling into the trap of the devil.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 says...
"For God did not appoint us to wrath,
but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ."
