At some point in your life, you would be creeped out by some random person who would call you saying facts about your life. Then they ask you meet up with them at a specific time and place because of a job offer. They won't care if you're busy with a regular job. They'll say they accept part time anyway. The complete details will be explained during the 2-hour meeting.
But then, after the phone conversation, you would realize that you don't know the company name and even the job description. You would ask the contact person only to find out a weird company name as well as vague job details.
And if you ignore your hunch, you would soon find yourself seated in a room for a long seminar of things you don't even care about. You're wearing the required business attire but not knowing that you are already trapped.
The only truth about all these is that you are going to sell their products and convince other people to sell them too.
But I don't think "convince" is the right term. They force you into something you never imagined yourself doing, and in time, you would also be doing it to other innocent people.
They use force just because of their greed. They trick susceptible young people into something they don't exactly know. And when they fall for it, they're already trapped. Too late.
You suffer while they enjoy watching you make more money for them. Those fake encouraging words are not helping the situation either.
Yes, it could be a true and perfect opportunity for some. But not all people want the same and not everybody could be as lucky as the first members.
Unless they're illegal, they have no reason to just dial numbers and disturb quiet lives. They don't have to trick and trap innocent people.
There are only two things they have to do. First is to be honest and tell the truth about the nature of the job. Secondly, target and approach people who are interested in their kind of work.
