But before you get disappointed, have you ever wondered why we always tend to jump into conclusions? This is a question that some of us, if not all, are guilty about.
Every single day of my life, I encounter people who just seem to love “jumping”. I have no idea how they do it. They slap it on your face real hard. Without second thoughts. Plain and simple. It’s always an “ouch” on my part. But like what I discussed in my previous article, I just let it slip away as if nothing happened and go on with my life.
As I understand it, the term “jumping to conclusions” or to “jump into conclusions” means to “therefore conclude” on an issue while having no basis at all. There is no proof or concrete evidence whatsoever. It makes an ASS out of U and ME.
As we all know, a person does not have the right to judge anything or anyone without properly understanding the matter first. This is the usual problem of the world, particularly in our relationship with others — doing things and saying stuff without thinking or even going through second thoughts.
For me, jump is not the correct term to use. It should be DIVE.
People are unaware that when they jump into conclusions, they instantly dive into nothingness. A deep and dark chasm. Waiting for the fall. To finally land on their own deathbeds.
